To let even a person, who has paind in sitting down or standing up by himself/herself, easily sit down or stand up concerning a health chair provided with a function for performing treatment such as kneading, padding or finger-pressure to a sitting person.

A base part 13 is operated so as to carry up the entire body for forward inclining a movable part 11 provided with a seat part 3, back rest part 5 and arm rest parts. This operation is performed by supporting the movable part 11 through a four-joint link mechanism 17 (members 23, 25 and 27) onto the base part 13, deforming and raising the four-joint link mechanism 17 when a motor-driven cylinder 19 is extended. When the motor-driven cylinder 19 is shrunk, the original state is recovered.
