A measuring device detects physiological data of a subject and transmits the data as electric information to an information processing part 1. The electric information is temporarily converted to optical information, and after the insulation is secured, converted again to the electric information. The information processing part 1 processes the electric information via an optical conversion part 6, and a line traffic part 2 remotely transmits the vital data through a communication line. Therefore, as processes from the measurement of data by the measuring device to the transmission of the data are executed as a series of processes while securing the insulation, complicated operation to be executed by the subject can be dissolved and the memory to be used can be reduced.
