Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition useful for a rubber-like elasticity cured material having high elongation and high strength, especially for a sealing material or adhesive, comprising a specific solid polyisocyanate compound and a polyoxyalkylene ether polyol.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A solid polyisocyanate compound prepared by reacting a solid polyisocyanate compound having preferably ≥80°C melting point (especially preferably dimer of 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) with an inactivating agent such as preferably 3,3'-dimethyl-4,4'-diaminodicyclohexylmethane and partially inactivating 0.2-10wt.% isocyanate is blended with (B) a bifunctional to tetrafunctional polyoxyalkylene ether polyol of formula I or formula II (R is 2-6C alkylene; α is 2-4; (n) is 130-520; (m) is 0-682) having 8,000-40,000 molecular weight in a molar ratio of NCO/OH of 2.2-4.0 to give the objective composition.
