In a USB memory 10, a cap 26 moves on a mid body 22, and the cap 26 is held at a storage position for storing a memory side USB connector 12, and a working position for exposing the memory side USB connector 12, by the heart-cam mechanism 28. The heart-cam mechanism 28 includes a heart-cam 36, elastic member 38, and spring 40. When the cap 26 is moved from a third position toward the storage position by means of biasing force of a spring 40, a cam pin 42 is brought into contact with a first deceleration unit 72 of a third cam unit 68, and the elastic member 38 is elastically deformed, thereby reducing the speed toward the storage position of the cap 26.
