PURPOSE: To obtain a heat accumulator which can be repeatedly used for keeping heat or cold for drinks and food, and a chemical experiment, for a comparatively short time, by keeping the temperature of the accumulator, the chemical substance, around its melting point by its melting heat, by sealing the chemical substance having a heat accumulating ability by its melting heat, into a small container, and by heating or cooling it before it is used.

CONSTITUTION: A small heat accumulator in which a chemical substance is sealed can be used to keep the temperature in food and drinks and also for a chemical experiment, and the like, by heating or cooling the substance previously, and by assembling it into a teacup holder, a saucer, a teacup, or a dining table. The volume changes in such a chemical substance, accompanied with the change of the temperature and of the phase from or to liquid and solid, therefore, the container must be of flexible structure to absorb the change of the volume. If the heat accumulator is in the shape of a disk, it is favorable to cut a groove around the side surface, or to grave concentric wave-forms on the bottom surface of a container. The heat accumulator can be assembled not only into a saucer but also into a tea cup and the other cups.
