Title:
HEAT DETECTING CIRCUIT AND THERMAL RESISTANCE MEASURING METHOD USING THIS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09159547
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a heat detecting circuit having a ring oscillator to be used to measure thermal resistance of a measuring object.

When thermal resistance of a measuring object is measured by using a temperature measuring means of a type in which an oscillating frequency changes depending on a temperature, this circuit is constituted of three or more odd number inverters I0, I1 to I2N to change propagation velocity according to a temperature change. In this case, a ring oscillator 32 is constituted by successively connecting output terminals and input terminals of these inverters I0, I1 to I2N to each other, and an oscillating frequency signal is detected from an output terminal of either one inverter to constitute this ring oscillator 32.
