Title:
HEAT-DEVELOPABLE COLOR PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND COLOR IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06337511
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat-developable color photosensitive material free from color mixing and color dropout and improved in color reproduction performance by incorporating a solid organic pigment further in a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and/or its adjacent layer.

CONSTITUTION: The heat-developing color photosensitive material contains at least photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a nondiffusive dye donor releasing or forming a diffusive dye in accordance with the reaction that the silver halide is reduced to silver or in reverse accordance with it, and a binder on a support. The silver halide emulsion layer and/or the adjacent layers further contain the solid organic pigment, substantially insoluble in water, such as azo pigments, or condensed polycyclic pigments, and it is preferred that it is substantially insoluble in high-boiling solvents, such as phosphate esters and phthalic esters, and in low-boiling solvents, such as ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, and cyclohexanone.
