Title:
HEAT-DEVELOPABLE PHOTOSENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0736145
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain such a photosensitive material having excellent resolution in which colors are erased after heat development to form an image without turbid colors by using both of a cationic dye and a base producing agent for a heat developable photosensitive body having a photosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION: This heat developable photosensitive body has a photosensitive layer containing at least an org. silver salt, silver halide, and reducing agent and has an antihalation layer containing a cationic dye and base producing agent. The base producing agent used to constitute the antihalation layer is preferably a salt of base and acid, and more preferably, the base is an org. base rather than alkali metals. As for the cationic dye, cyanine dyes and styryl dyes can be used. The proportion of the amts. of cationic dye and base producing agent is, to one mol of the cationic dye, between ≥0.1mol to ≤100mol base producing agent, preferably between ≥0.5mol to <60mol, and more preferably between ≥0.5mol to ≥40mol is used.
