Title:
HEAT DEVELOPABLE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007206315
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a heat developable photosensitive material excellent in surface film properties and improved in image density unevenness, and to provide an image forming method using the same.

The heat developable photosensitive material has an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder on at least one surface of a support and has at least one non-photosensitive layer on a surface of the image forming layer opposite to the support, wherein the non-photosensitive layer contains a monodisperse matting agent having an average particle size of 2.0-8.0 μm, and the summation of the projected areas of surface protrusions attributable to the monodisperse matting agent is 0.01-3.0% of unit area, or the number of protrusions having a height of ≥2.0 μm in surface protrusions attributable to the monodisperse matting agent is 20-2,000 per 1 mm2. The image forming method includes an image exposure step with a laser and a heat development step.
