Title:
HEAT DEVELOPABLE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL, IMAGE RECORDING METHOD AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3945109
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat developable photosensitive material less liable to fogging in heat development and in long-term preservation and excellent in stability of a silver image after the heat development.
SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material contains at least a nonphotosensitive organic silver salt, photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent capable of reducing the silver ion of the organic silver salt to silver when activated by heat, a binder and a crosslinking agent of the binder and further contains a compound which generates a reactive species other than a halogen atom when exposed to ultraviolet light or visible light after the heat development of the photosensitive material. The reactive species inactivates the reducing agent so that the organic silver salt cannot be reduced to silver by the reducing agent.
