Title:
HEAT DEVELOPABLE SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007004070
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To ensure excellent surface film properties and to obtain a high-quality image excellent in sharpness.

A heat developable sensitive material is provided which is obtained by disposing, on at least one surface of a support, an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder, and disposing a non-photosensitive outermost layer on the surface side where image forming layer of the support is formed, wherein (1) the outermost layer contains a copolymer using at least the following monomers (M1) and (M2) as starting materials, and (2) the heat developable sensitive material has a maximum surface roughness (Rt) of the image forming layer side of ≤1.5 μm. Monomer (M1): a monomer having a salt or salt forming group or a polyalkylene oxide group and also having a radical polymerizable unsaturated bond. Monomer (M2): a fluorine atom-containing monomer having a radical polymerizable unsaturated bond. An image forming method is also provided which includes an image exposure step using laser and a heat development step.
