Abstract:
To provide a heat diffusion device, a wavelength conversion device, a light source device, and a projector that compatibly achieve light reduction and improvement in cooling efficiency.SOLUTION: A heat diffusion device comprises a main body part including a heat reception part which receives heat from a heat source, a heat radiation part which radiates the heat received by the heat reception part, and a housing chamber which houses working fluid in a sealed state, in which: the working fluid is water; the housing chamber is made of metal material smaller in specific gravity than copper, and also has its inner surface covered with a coating layer, which is a resin coat including resin which is one of alkyd resin, silicone resin, ethylene-ethylene trifluoride copolymer resin, and ethylene tetrafluoride-perfluoro alkyl vinyl ether copolymer resin; and the working fluid in a liquid state is vaporized with heat from the heat reception part, and also condensed by radiating the heat from the heat radiation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
