Title:
熱駆動式冷房装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4834186
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a conventional cold air blower cannot be used in an environment where no electrical power is supplied, a room temperature is raised due to heat radiated by a condenser, and noise of a compressor is large; a cold air fan increases sensible temperature due to an increase in humidity.SOLUTION: A heat driven cooler includes a cooling mechanism using an absorption heat pump 101, and a blower mechanism 102 in which a blower fan is driven by a stirling engine. A heat source mechanism 103 is provided in which a hydrocarbon fuel is vaporized using heat dissipated from a condenser and oxidization heat is generated by oxidatively decomposing the vaporized hydrocarbon fuel by a platinum catalyst. The heat source mechanism supplies heat to the cooling mechanism and blower mechanism to drive them, thereby supplying cold air. Cold air can be supplied for a long time without using electrical power. No compressor is used to enhance silence. The amount of water vapor to be emitted into the air is reduced as compared with that in a cold air fan. In addition, since heat dissipated from the condenser is consumed by vaporization of the hydrocarbon fuel, heat dissipation into the air can be reduced.
