To provide a heat and electricity cogeneration type adjustment power supply capable of stably supplying power with efficiency on a power system side, and supplying both heat and electricity with efficiency at low cost on a heat and electricity cogeneration side.
A heat and electricity cogeneration type adjustment power supply comprises: a first fuel cell A operating as one for a gas provider so that an output becomes constant; a second fuel cell B operating as one for an electricity provider so that an output is changed depending on variation in electric power demand of a power system; a gas turbine 42 driven by unburnt fuel exhausted from the first and second fuel cells; a heat exchanger 43 generating hot water or vapor by heat of discharge gas exhausted from the gas turbine 42; and an air compression device 48 driven by the vapor generated by the heat exchanger 43 to compress air. To the first fuel cell A, air compressed by a GT compressor 46 driven together with the gas turbine is supplied. To the second fuel cell B, air compressed by the air compression device 48 is supplied.
