Title:
HEAT EXCHANGE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6176882
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the size and increase the performance of a fluidized-bed type heat exchanger by disposing a finned heat exchanger through which a fluid which carries out a heat exchange with an air current, flows, at an air current inlet portion.

CONSTITUTION: An air current generated by a blower in the direction shown by an arrow 16 carried out first a heat-exchange with a fluid flowing through a pipe group of a finned heat exchanger. While flowing between planner fins 15, the air current is smoothed, an air flow speed distribution is eliminated and becomes uniform. Accordingly, solid particles 9 display a uniform floating and flowing state without partially accumulating. As a result, in performing heat exchange between the fluid and the air current, a uniform fluidized layer is formed around the entire periphery of the heat exchanger 8, and hence the temperature bordery layer of the fluid is positively destroyed, and the heat transfer coefficient is remarkably improved. Since a large effect can be obtained only by the volumeric increase of the finned heat exchanger part, the heat exchange quantity per unit volume is increased greatly, and hence miniaturization of the heat exchanger and high performance thereof become possible.
