Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange element where the exchange efficiency between the temperature and humidity improves, by constituting a partition plate of a moisture-permeable film, in a heat exchange element used for a heat exchange type ventilator or the like.
SOLUTION: In a heat exchange element 1 which is constituted so that heat exchange may be performed through partition plates 2a between two kinds of air currents, with unit elements comprising partition plates 2a and space plates 3 stacked alternately at 90° on every other stage, the gas permeability is reduced, and the exchange efficiency between temperature and humidity improves, by using a moisture-permeable film 7, which shifts the steam of air currents on much moisture side to low moisture side, making use of the difference of partial pressure of steam, or dissolves only the steam of air currents on much moisture side and diffuses it inside and dedissolves it on the surface on low moisture side, for the partition plate 2a.
