To provide a heat exchange pipe for a refrigerating cycle capable of increasing the heat exchange amount between a refrigerant flowing in a suction pipe and refrigerant flowing in a capillary tube by increasing the heat transfer area and the coefficient of heat transfer and of enhancing the refrigerating efficiency.
The suction pipe 5 and the capillary tube 3 are joined together in such a way that their outer surfaces contact with each other thermally, and groove(s) stretching in the same direction as the axial direction of the suction pipe 5 is formed at its inner surface so as to increase the inner surface area of the suction pipe 5, in which the refrigerant flowing in the suction pipe 5 is stirred by the groove formed at the inner surface, and thereby the heat transfer area and the coefficient of heat transfer at the inner surface of the suction pipe 5 are increased, which increases the heat exchange amount between the refrigerant flowing in the suction pipe 5 and refrigerant flowing in the capillary tube 3, to lead to enhancement of the refrigerating efficiency.
