Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER COOLING SYSTEM MONITORING CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3203921
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve a safe operation of a pump by a method wherein water level of a pump tank at the time when operation condition of the pump is changed is fore cast beforehand based on the actual water level differences between tide levels obtained from a tide table and tide levels of operation of the past, whereby the number of pumps, the number of revolutions, degree of opening of valve are controlled so that the water level of the pump tank may not fall below a pump operation limit water level.
CONSTITUTION: A present tide level forecasting unit 2 reads a present tide level to forecast tide level from a tide table of a tide table storage 1 by specifying the date thereby to input the tide level into a pump tank water level forecasting operation unit (operation unit) 3. The operation unit 3 takes in the tide data at the time of preceeding operation with n pumps and the data of a water level difference storage unit 4 of the pump tank and uses tide level data from the present tide level data to temporarily forecast the degree of fall of the pump tank water level when n pumps are operated. Based on the forecast, the number of condenser cooling seawater pumps to be operated is determined by an operable axis number determining unit 8 so that pump tank water level may not come below a pump operation limit water level, thereby controlling the number of pumps.
