Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warm up an engine in an early stage at a cold start of the engine.SOLUTION: An oil cooler 40 comprises: a heat insulation case 41; an oil inflow hole 46; an oil outflow hole 47; an in-case oil flow passage 43; a cooling water inflow hole 44; a cooling water outflow hole 45; and an in-case cooling water flow passage 42. Oil which is pressure-fed from an oil pump 33 and progresses toward a main gallery 3 of a cylinder block 2, and the cooling water of an engine 1 circulate in the inside of the oil cooler 40, and heat exchange is performed between the oil and the cooling water. The heat insulation case 41 has a vacuum heat insulation double-structure which is formed so that a clearance between a metal-made inner wall 41 and a plate-shaped outer wall 41b becomes a vacuum layer 48, and movement of heat between the inside and the outside of the heat insulation case 41 is suppressed by the vacuum layer 48. At a stop of the engine 1, the oil is stored in the in-case oil flow passage 43 in the heat insulation case 41, and the cooling water is stored in the in-case cooling water flow passage 42 in the heat insulation case 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
