Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain heat exchanger fins capable of absorbing work strains accumulated in a metallic sheet and holding the strength of the metallic sheet without highly hardening the metallic sheet.

CONSTITUTION: A row or rows of penetration holes which comprise penetration holes 16 bored at a fixed span are formed in the longitudinal direction of a squared strip-like metallic sheet 11 serving as heat exchanger fins. Each of the penetration holes 16 is a collared penetration hole 12 whose peripheral edge is surrounded by a collar 17 at a specified height. There are intermittently formed grooves 20 near both ends of the metallic sheet 10 along the longitudinal direction of the metallic sheet.
