Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of sufficiently curbing a scale buildup.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger comprises heat exchange sections and a polymerization agent supply section. The heat exchange sections: are supplied with geothermal hot water and a heat medium with a temperature thereof lower than the geothermal hot water; and exchange heat between the geothermal hot water and the heat medium. The polymerization agent supply section supplies the geothermal hot water with a polymerization agent to polymerize a scale component dissolved in the geothermal hot water. The heat exchanger has a plurality of heat exchange sections which are serially connected. The polymerization agent supply section respectively supplies the plurality of heat exchange sections with the polymerization agent at positions upstream of inlet sections of the heat exchange sections where the geothermal hot water flows thereinto.
