In the heat transfer fin arrangement step, a plurality of heat transfer fins 5 are arranged. In the first connection step, the heat transfer tubes and the heat transfer fins are closely kept into contact with each other to form first workpieces 72, 73. In the dividing step, the first workpiece is divided between the first row heat transfer tube group and the second row heat transfer tube group to from second workpieces 81, 82. In the second connection step, two second workpieces are re-connected at a prescribed position in the first direction to form a third workpiece 71.
