Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger which can suppress a flow of the other fluid from being hindered in the vicinity of an entrance/exit of a flow passage, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A radiator 1 comprises a core part 3, and a refrigerant flow passage 5a and an air flow passage 7 which are arranged at the core part. Cooling water flowing in the refrigerant flow passage 5 and air flowing in the air flow passage 7 perform a heat exchange via a bulkhead 54. The refrigerant flow passage 5 comprises a plurality of main flow passages 51 located so as to be aligned in a prescribe direction, an introduction chamber 52 communicating with the plurality of main flow passages 51, and extending in the prescribed direction, and a discharge chamber 53 communicating with the plurality of main flow passages 51, and extending in the prescribed direction. Each of the main flow passages 51 has an introduction-side shape change zone 55 in which the shape of a prescribed flow passage cross section gradually changes toward the introduction chamber 52 and is linearly connected to the adjacent main flow passage 51, and a discharge-side shape change zone 56 in which the shape of a prescribed flow passage cross section gradually changes toward the discharge chamber 53 and is linearly connected to the adjacent main flow passage 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
