Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a degree of charging of brazing material into a gap between a recess part formed outside a connected section of flat tubes and a fitting hole of a header plate or a header pipe to be increased more than that of the prior art, and further to enable some fins not cladding the brazing material to be used.
SOLUTION: A heat exchanger made of aluminum is constructed such that a plate member having some brazing agent including Si at its surface cladded therein is formed. There are provided a flat tube 10 having a connecting section therein, either a header plate or a header pipe 20 having brazing material containing Si cladded at its surface, and fins 5. When they are assembled temporarily, the flat tube 10 and the fin 15 are laminated and at the same time either the header plates or the header pipes 20 are fixed to both ends of the flat tubes 10. When they are temporarily assembled, a clearance is formed at the fitted part between both ends of the flat tube and the header plate or the header pipe. When they are brazed from each other, each of the flat tube 10, the fins 15, the flat tubes, either the header plate or the header pipe 20 is brazed from each other. An amount of inclusion of Si in the brazing material in the flat tube 10 is made to be more by 2 wt.% than an amount of inclusion of Si in the brazing material.
