Abstract:
To provide a compact heat exchanger with high heat exchange efficiency, and further provide a heat pump type hot water heater where a highly effectual heat pump operation is achieved.
There are provided a first heat exchange pipe 12A in which a fluid to be heat exchanged flows, and a second heat exchange pipe 12B in which a heat medium flows. The heat exchange pipe 12A includes a recessed portion 22 extending axially on a peripheral wall thereof, and in the recessed portion 22 the second heat exchange pipe 12B are fixed in a heat exchange relation with the first heat exchange pipe 12A.
