Abstract:
To provide a heat exchanger and a refrigeration cycle device that can enhance heat exchange efficiency.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger according to an embodiment comprises a plurality of heat exchange tubes, and a header. In the plurality of heat exchange tubes, refrigerant passages through which a refrigerant flows are formed. The header is provided on end parts of the heat exchange tubes. The plurality of heat exchange tubes includes first and second upstream side heat exchange tubes, and first and second downstream side heat exchange tubes. The header comprises an inner plate body, an outer plate body, and a plurality of intermediate plate bodies. In the intermediate plate bodies, a first transfer flow passage is formed. The first transfer flow passage allows the refrigerant passage of the first upstream side heat exchange tube to communicate with the refrigerant passage of the second downstream side heat exchange tube. The first transfer flow passage comprises a first region, a second region, and a connection region. The first region communicates with the refrigerant passage of the first upstream side heat exchange tube. The second region communicates with the refrigerant passage of the second downstream side heat exchange tube.
