Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11311493
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To securely prevent entry into an operation room and to improve safety by constituting an entrance/exit part so that the entrance/exit part of target equipment can enter a tank part.

An intercooler 1 is provided with a tank part 2, and the tank part 2 is provided with an entrance/exit part 3 for loading fluid into and out of target equipment. The entrance/exit part 3 is constituted of a fitting member 4 that is mounted on the outside of a wall 9 of the tank part 2. An exit/entrance part 5 is mounted on a manifold 25 at the side of an engine 8 as the target equipment in the fitting member 4. The entrance/exit part 5 is constituted of an emboss part 6, and the outer diameter of the emboss part 6 should be smaller than an entrance/exit hole 10 of fluid being formed on the wall 9 of the tank part 2. The fitting member 4 should shrink in the direction of an own pipe when shock is applied to a vehicle, and the emboss part 6 should be able to enter the tank 2 due to the shrinkage of the fitting member 4. A part 7 with a step is installed at the fitting member 4 for enabling shrinkage to occur easily.
