Abstract:
To prevent a fin from breaking at its connection between a front side heat exchanger and back side heat exchanger, thereby enables stacking of press worked fins by an automated machine.
A connection 4 connecting a part of the upper end of a fin 1 serving as a front side heat exchanger 2 to a part of the upper end of the fin 1 serving as a back side heat exchanger 3 is provided with a bent portion 5 and a bead 6. This reduces the momentum force of a fin load acting on the connection 4 and ensures strength high enough to resist the fin load momentum force, which prevent the fin 1 from breaking on the connection 4, thus enabling proper stacking of the press worked fins 1 by an automated machine.
