Abstract:

To provide a heat exchanger having a performance more excellent than that of a conventional heat exchanger.

This heat exchanger is equipped with a core 2 comprising a flat tube 3 through which a medium is conducted to flow, and fins 4 attached to the tube 3; and a tank 5 connected to the terminal part of the tube 3 to effect the heat exchange of the medium by heat transferred to the core 2. In this case, the tank 5 is provided with a hole 501 for inserting the terminal part of the tube 3 while the tube 3 is constituted of plate-type materials through roll forming and brazing. The flow passage 301 of the tube 3 is partitioned by a bead 302 formed of the materials by bending, and the thickness tB of the bead 302 is set so as to be thinner than doubled thickness tA of the material. Further, respective parts of the heat exchanger are designed so as to be well balanced, whereby the performance of the heat exchanger is improved.
