In this heat exchanger 100, cooling water Wc supplied to a heat exchange part 110 and air Ah flowing into the heat exchange part 110 are brought into contact with each other to perform heat exchange.The heat exchanger 100 includes a spray part 130 for spraying cooling water W(Wh) to the air Ah immediately before it flows into the heat exchange part 110 to thereby cool the air. The heat exchanger further includes: a cooling water collecting part disposed below the heat exchange part 110 to collect cooling water Wh flowing down from the heat exchange part 110; and a water conveying part 126 for conveying some or whole of cooling water Wh collected by the cooling water collecting part to the spray part 130.
