To provide a heat exchanger having excellent removal effects of moisture in a refrigerant by a desiccant.
A refrigerant inflow port 31 and a refrigerant outflow port 32 are formed in a liquid receiver 7 of the heat exchanger so that the former is positioned on the upper side. A first partition member 36 for vertically partitioning inside of the liquid receiver 7 is arranged in the height position between the refrigerant inflow port 31 and refrigerant outflow port 32 within the liquid receiver 7, and a second partition member 37 for vertically partitioning inside of the liquid receiver 7 is arranged in the height position above the refrigerant inflow port 31. A first space 38 between the first and second partition members 36, 37, a second space 39 above the second partition member 37 and a third space 41 below the first partition member 36 are provided within the liquid receiver 7. The desiccant is arranged in the second space 39 within the liquid receiver 7. A refrigerant lifting pipe 42 having a lower end leading to the first space 38 and an upper end leading to the second space 39 and a refrigerant lowering pipe 43 having an upper end leading to the second space 39 and a lower end leading to the third space 41 are provided within the liquid receiver 7.
