Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which can be manufactured easily.SOLUTION: A capacitor is configured in such a manner that a width of a circumferential wall 4a of a second header tank 4 in a ventilation direction is wider than a width of a circumferential wall 3a of a first header tank 3 in a ventilation direction, the second header tank 4 being located outside of the first header tank 3 in a horizontal direction. A total heat exchanging pipe 2 having the same width extends straight in a vertical direction, in which an end portion of the heat exchanging pipe 2 is brazed to the circumferential walls 3a, 4a while the end portion being respectively inserted into tube through holes 3b, 4b formed on the circumferential walls 3a, 4a of the first and second header tanks 3, 4. A project portion 24 is provided on one side of the second header tank 4 in a ventilation direction, the project portion being projected outwardly than the first header tank 3 in a ventilation direction. The tube through hole 4b is provided on a part facing the first header tank 3 side within a width of the first header tank 3 on the circumferential wall 4a of the second header tank 4 in a ventilation direction.
