Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of fixing a ceramic honeycomb structure inside of a case in a state of securing airtightness between the ceramic honeycomb structure and the case.SOLUTION: A honeycomb structure 20 is provided with a plurality of honeycomb ribs 29 having a rectangular cross-section circling along a cross line of intersection of an outer surface of an outer wall 22 and a surface orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the honeycomb structure main body 21, at a position holding a second opening 261 along the longitudinal direction of the honeycomb structure main body 21. As end faces 293 of the honeycomb ribs 29 and metallic foil 49 are brazed, the ceramic honeycomb structure can be fixed inside of the case in a state of securing airtightness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
