Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To braze a heat exchanger 1 surely by preventing deformation of the end plates 6 and 7, fins 3 and flat tubes 2 thereof when it is thermally brazed in a furnace after being held surely by means of a jig 11 at the time of temporary setting.
SOLUTION: The end plates 6 and 7 are provided, at the opposite end parts in the longitudinal direction thereof, with protrusions 9 protruding in the direction of the fins. Height of the protrusions 9 increases gradually toward the forward end part and the fins 3 of the heat exchanger 1 temporarily set in centrally protruding shape are supported, at the opposite end parts thereof, by the protrusions 9.
