Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure capable of holding an intermediate member 11 for fitting pipes 5, 6 to header tank parts 3, 4 in opening parts 8, 9 of the header tank parts 3, 4 in simple constitution and providing enough soldering strength between the intermediate member 11 and the opening parts 8, 9.
SOLUTION: The intermediate member 11 provided for connecting the pipes 5, 6 with the header tanks 3, 4 is provided with a cylindrical part 13 inserted in a flange part along the outer walls of the opening parts and the opening parts 8, 9. The opening parts 8, 9 of the header tanks parts 3, 4 for fitting the intermediate member 11 are provided with projections 15, 16 capable of coming into contact with the outer periphery of the cylindrical part 13 of the intermediate member 11 toward the center of the opening parts 8, 9.
