Abstract:
To improve heat transfer performance by forming a uniform liquid film on an inner wall of a grooved tube.
This heat exchanger is constructed such that an upper header 2 and a lower header 4 are communicated through a plurality of heat transfer tubes 1, and a heat medium fluid is directed to flow down along an inner wall of the heat transfer tube 1 from the upper header 2 for heat exchange between the heat medium fluid and the heat transfer tube. In the heat exchanger, a spiral groove is formed in an inner surface of the heat transfer tube 1 which groove is formed so as to be upwardly inclined at a cross section including a tube axis.
