Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate fin type heat exchanger having a high heat transfer efficiency, by increasing a heat transfer amount per air flow power. SOLUTION: A plate fin type heat exchanger comprises disorder generating fins such as offset fins 3' or the like and vortex generating fins such as vortex generators 4 or the like alternately disposed in a fluid flowing direction in a channel. Thus, a heat transfer amount per air flow power can be increased by an effect of suppressing pressure loss to low level by the vortex generating fin, and by a heat transfer expediting effect obtained by locally changing an inflow angle by a longitudinal vortex in the disorder generating fin.
