PURPOSE: To make a heat transfer amount increase together with lessening a fluid driving power by miniaturizing a heat exchanger having small fins in uneven arrangement at an end surface thereof against a flow direction at a main flowing passage of the heat exchanger for heating apparatus or the like wherein the fluid flowing passages are arranged in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: Fins 16 are provided to a main flowing passage 8, said fins 16 being fixed to walls 17 of passages 11 in fluid body II. The heat exchange is performed against fluid II from fluid I to fin 16 through side walls of the flow passage 8. In flow passage 18, the recess 19 occurs by fins 161W163, and the flow of the fluid I curves slightly, whereby the side of the surface 163a becomes a high pressure, while the side of the surface 161b becomes a low pressure. An adjacent flowing passage becomes a counter pressure status and the secondary flow 18 is induced in the direction shown by the arrow between fins 16. Accordingly, the secondary flow 18 performs the heat exchange between fins 16, and further the heat exchange is performed again at the time when it meets with the main flow 8. Thus, the heat transfer construction having a small fluid resistance can be obtained, thereby being possible to miniaturize the heat exchanger and increase the heat transfer ratio.
