Abstract:
PURPOSE:To dissolve clogging and the increase of oil flowing resistance and improve heat exchange efficiency by forming the undulation parts onto the upper and lower plates and alternately laminating the undulation parts, allowing the corresponding positions, to be attached each other, and forming the spaces for the flow of fluids in partitioned form, thus permitting heat exchange. CONSTITUTION:The first spaces P, P... in which cooling water flows and the second spaces Q, Q... in which oil flows are set contiguously through an upper plate 1 and a lower plate 2, and heat exchange is carried out during the flowing in each space P, Q. Oil is cooled and led cut of an outlet port of an upper-stage ring member 6, and water catches heat and led out of a pipe. When oil flows in the space Q in an annular undulation part, flow speed is increased at a plurality of projection parts. While, also cooling water flows in the radial direction in a plurality of projection parts, when said water flows in the circumferential direction in the space P of a unit 3 equipped with the upper plate 1 and the lower plate 2, and stagnation is eliminated, and the heat exchange efficiency can be improved. Further, with such constitution, the need of inner fin is avoided, and clogging and increase of oil flowing resistance can be dissolved.
