Particle type thermal medium 8 circulated between an upper heat exchanging chamber 2 where high temperature gas 1 flows and a lower heat exchanging chamber 4 where low temperature gas flows is returned back to a feeding port 9 of the upper heat exchanging chamber 2 with air and transferred through a transferring pipe 17, the returning-back transferring air heated by the thermal medium 8 is separated by a separator 18, supplied to the lower heat exchanging chamber 4 through a pipe 23, thereby sensible heat of the thermal medium 8 is effectively utilized to enable an efficiency of the heat exchanging device to be remarkably improved.
