Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchange device which recovers heat from exhaust gas of an engine and simultaneously absorbs an exhaust noise. CONSTITUTION:A water supply pipe 7 is provided on an upper portion of a sealed frame body 1 for storing water 2 in the frame body 1, while a water discharge pipe 8 is arranged. A gas supplying pipe 3 is provided on a lower portion of the frame body 1 for discharging exhaust gas into the water 2, while an exhaust gas pipe 6 is provided on an upper portion of the frame body 1 for discharging the exhaust gas. A porous plate 17 and a metal mesh 16 are arranged between a water level and the water supply pipe 7 for exchanging heat more efficiently while preventing rising of the exhaust gas and dropping of the water and remaining them.
