Title:
HEAT GAS ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3182261
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat gas engine which has a high output density, a low weight and a small size by connecting auxiliary cylinder means to a medium temperature chamber or a gas channel, and disposing the means in a state that an auxiliary piston is movably energized by spring means in the cylinder means.
CONSTITUTION: Auxiliary cylinder means 101 has an auxiliary cylinder 103, an auxiliary piston 105 movably contained in the cylinder 103, and an auxiliary coiled spring 107 as spring means to energize the piston 105. Spring constants of a high temperature side coiled spring 7, a low temperature side coiled spring 9 and the spring 107 and masses of a high temperature side displacer piston 3, a low temperature side displacer piston 5 and the piston 105 are respectively set to optimum values thereby to obtain a natural frequency even by the use of a single operating gas having a small molecular weight. Accordingly, a flowing loss which has been a problem when a molecular weight is large can be alleviated.
