To provide a heat generating fixation belt and an image formation device using the same, which can maintain appropriate lower resistance suitable for use as a heat generating fixation belt for a long period, and can prevent a heat generating layer from being damaged due to pressure during fixation resulting from insertion of a foreign matter in the fixation belt or from being split due to deformation of the fixation belt resulting from a large applied force during removal of an image support jammed in a fixation device.
A heat generating fixation belt 10 includes a heat generating layer 3 composed of a conductive substance blended with and dispersed in a resin, and a couple of feeding electrodes 3a and 3b at both ends of the substance. At least one surface of the heat generating layer is covered with a woven fabric 2 by lamination.
