To provide a container superior in heat insulating property which hardly conducts the heat of its contents regardless where on its body part it is held with hands.
This heat insulated container comprises a paper cup main body 2 having an outward curl part 6 at the top open edge and a paper outside tube 3 which is open both at the top and at the bottom having inward curl parts 8, 9 at each top and bottom open edges. The inward curl part 9 at the top open edge of the outside tube 3 touches the side wall outer periphery directly under the outward curl part of the paper cup main body 2, and the inward curl part 8 of the bottom open edge is formed in a size to touch the side wall outer periphery at the bottom of the paper cup main body 2. The paper cup main body 2 is covered with the outside tube 3 for adhering the inward curl part 9 at the top open edge of the outside tube 3 to the side wall outer periphery directly under the outward curl part 6 of the paper cup main body 2 for forming them integrally and to form a gap 10 all over between the paper cup main body 2 and the outside tube 3. Since the heat insulating gap 10 is formed all over at certain intervals, the heat of its contents is hardly conducted regardless where on its body part the container is held with hands.
