Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fibers hardly fall and obtain excellent heat insulating property by entangling and integrating a net-like support body and a crossed fiber web with a specified value or above at an interval shorter than a substantial length in the cross direction of the crossed fiber web of the shortest fiber among the fibers which form the crossed fiber web.
SOLUTION: A heat insulating composite body 1 is formed in such a manner that a net-like support body 3 and a crossed fiber web 2 are layered and, for example, water flow is made to work on them from the crossed fiber web 2 so as to entangle and integrate. The net-like support body 3 and the crossed fiber web 2 of 4mm or above are entangled and integrated at an interval shorter than a substantial length in the cross direction of the crossed fiber web 2 of the shortest fiber among fibers which form the crossed fiber web 2. Thus, they are hardly peeled. Though the entangled parts of the crossed fiber web 2 and the net-like support body 3 are fine and thin, the fibers at the parts where they are not entangling are oriented in the thickness direction so as to be bulky, thereby providing excellent heat insulating property.
