To substantially prevent breakage and to enhance a heat insulating effect by forming a thermally insulating material formed by sealing the spaces between laminated films arranged with a core material to a vacuum on the outer side of a container containing water and food and providing the laminated film with a sealing layer, gas barrier layer and a protective layer.
Water, food, etc., are first put into the ferromagnetic container 1 and a cap 3 is put thereon. Next, the container is placed on a magnetic field generator 5, such as an electromagnetic cookware, and a magnetic field is applied thereto. The magnetic field penetrates the vacuum thermally insulating material 2 and arrives at the container 1. The container 1 is ferromagnetic and, therefore, the heat evolution by eddy current occurs and the water and food in the container 1 are heated by the container 1 having the elevated temperature. The operation of the magnetic field generator 5 is stopped after the prescribed heating is executed. The escape of the heat in the container 1 to the outside is substantially prevented by the vacuum thermally insulating materials 2 and 4 enclosing the container even if the container is held as it is or is moved and used thereafter and, therefore, the water and food in the container 1 may be preserved at the high temperature for a long time.
