Abstract:
To inhibit separation and scattering of glass fibers from heat insulating material made of a glass mat and to make it easy to use.
Fibers other than the glass fibers, for instance a nonwoven fabric 2 of a gray system color formed of polyester fibers, are laminated on a surface of the glass mat 1. The glass mat 2 and the nonwoven fabric 2 are constructed in one united body with their fibers entwined with each other by needle processing. A double sided adhesive sheet 3 having mold releasing paper on a surface is attached to a back side of the glass mat 1, if necessary.
