Title:
HEAT-INSULATING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10219589
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To obtain a building heat-insulating material or tatami mat (mat made of rush for Japanese life) light in weight, large in strength and easy in disposal treatment because main materials have biodegradability.
This heat-insulating material is obtained by removing a liquid from a slurry containing curled fibers having a moist curl factor of 0.4-1.0 and fine fibers having a binding-reinforcing factor of ≥0.15 as raw materials and subsequently drying the residue, and has density of 0.05-0.45g/cm3 and a heat conductivity of ≤0.140kcal/m.hr.°C based on the JIS A 1412.
