To obtain the excellent heat insulation without forming any uneven portions on the surface of an outer cylinder by providing an inwardly folded portion on upper and lower opening edges of a paper outer cylinder to be covered over a side surface of a container body, bringing each folded portion into contact with an outer circumference of upper and lower side surfaces of the container body, and providing a gap between the paper container body and the outer cylinder.

A curled outward flange 3 is provided on an upper opening edge of a body portion 2 of a paper container body 1, and a bottom 4 is provided on a bottom portion of the body portion 2. An outer cylinder 10 whose upper and lower ends are opened, and a substantially hollow cylindrical outer cylinder which is slightly extended upward is covered on the side surface of the container body 1. Inwardly folded portions 12, 13 are formed on the upper and lower opening edges of a body portion 11 of the outer cylinder 10, the folded portions 12, 13 are brought into contact with the outer circumference of the upper and lower side surfaces of the container body 1, and fixed through adhesion to demarcate a gap between the container body 1 and the outer cylinder 10, and to ensure the heat insulation of the container by this gap.
