In the heat insulating structure of the hot water storage tank 1 storing warm water for hot water supply, the vacuum heat insulating materials 2a, 2b having ends where welding parts of sealing margins 5a, 5b are folded to bodies 2ah, 2bh side are mounted around the hot water storage tank 1. Preferably, both the vacuum heat insulating materials 2a, 2b are mounted around the hot water storage tank 1 in a state that an end of one vacuum heat insulating material 2a and an end of the other vacuum heat insulating material 2b abut on each other, and a clearance c is formed between both ends, and the other heat insulating material 6 is attached to the clearance c.
